Who Are We
WE ARE…
Brampton Robotics is a non-profit organization established to promote STEM education through robotics among youth in the community. Our teams, known as "Discobots Canada," were founded by a group of high school students who were 2014 Vex Robotics World Champions, along with their parent mentors, as a way of giving back to the community.
Our organization aims to provide a platform for students from various schools to collaborate, share knowledge, and develop an interest in STEM through robotics. Our team members have achieved numerous victories, including 2014 and 2016 Vex Robotics Competition World Championships, 2016 Vex IQ Challenge World Championship, and many other awards.
Our mentors at Brampton Robotics bring a wealth of experience to the table, having competed and mentored in the VEX Robotics Competition for multiple years. They have a deep understanding of the intricacies of the competition, as well as the skills and knowledge required to succeed. This experience enables them to guide our teams in developing innovative and effective strategies, as well as honing their technical skills in robot design and programming. Our mentors are passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise, and take pride in the success of their teams.
We are committed to inspiring students to learn about STEM and develop the skills necessary for future success, such as leadership, project management, marketing, and engineering. Our core values are creativity, respect, teamwork, innovation, and promoting diversity.
